Lindos
Lindos Holidays.
Lindos is a romantic village where narrow streets remain unclogged and the buildings remain unspoilt.
Apart from the main square there’s no modern transport so everyone walks or hops on a donkey! At night Lindos comes alive, a cosmopolitan air fills the busy bars and restaurants. As a pedestrian village all luggage is delivered to the properties by truck, which is non-operational after midnight. Guests arriving on night transfers will not receive their luggage until after 8am the following morning. Please ensure you travel with any required items until your cases arrive. Please note: Due to the hilly nature of the resort, it is not recommended for people with walking difficulties.
Lindos professes to be the prettiest village on Rhodes and most of its visitors will agree with this claim. The bay on which Lindos lies is surrounded by hills and the white houses of the village appear to rise out of the sea reaching up to the ruins of the Acropolis on the top of the hill. The views from here are quite spectacular. Lindos Beaches.

Lindos has many different architectural styles reflecting the influences of previous generations from Romans through to Italians. The town has been protected from excessive tourist development and many buildings have been left unchanged for centuries. The traffic free-streets and alleyways are narrow and cobbled and the buildings are famous for their elaborate facades. Above the town is the Acropolis accessed on foot by a stepped walkway or on the back of a donkey.
