Kefalonia Island resort of Lassi is nearby Argostoli. Lassi is a lively resort and is very popular with the discerning holidaymakers. Along the coast the road that leads to town is filled with a wide variety of restaurants, bars, tavernas, shops and supermarkets.
To the south lies beautiful landscape and vineyards leading up to the Airport. You can walk but if you prefer, a regular bus service runs to Argostoli.
Lassi boasts of some of the best beaches on Kefalonia. In Lassi you can also find fantastic bays and small sheltered coves. They are furnished with sun beds and umbrellas. Mostly offer water sports in its warm and crystal clear waters.
It is easy to rent a a car or a small jeep and explore the Island and there are also several excursions operating locally which you can book direct, from a travel shop or through a tour rep.
