If you wish you may rent a small boat and start exploring the broader coastal area: you will sail up to stone ship or Kolouri, as its official name is. Access from the capital Corfu, 23,5 kilometers is easy by public bus the green ones, by taxi and by rented or private car and motorbikes. Excursion boats depart daily from the small port of the village for several coastal villages of the island. At the port you may also rent a boat for a more solitary and romantic short trip.
